We are looking for an engaged and structured HR and QHSE Manager who will contribute to further developing our organization through comprehensive HR work and a systematic focus on HSE, quality and improvement.

About the position
The position reports directly to the General Manager and is part of the management team.
The role has overall responsibility for the HR and QHSE functions, including systems, processes and frameworks across the organization.
Managers with line and personnel responsibility are responsible for the day-to-day follow-up of employees.
The HR and QHSE Manager has the responsibility and authority to establish, manage and further develop systems, frameworks, processes and guidelines used in HR and QHSE-related processes, as well as to support and ensure that managers carry out their responsibilities in line with applicable regulations, internal requirements and best practice.
HR: subject matter and system responsibility
- Develop, maintain and implement the company’s HR strategy, framework and governing documentation in line with the company’s objectives
- System ownership of HR processes related to recruitment, onboarding, employee follow-up and competence development
- Ensure comprehensive and professional recruitment and onboarding processes
- Act as a professional advisor to managers in matters related to employment law, personnel management, sickness absence follow-up and organizational development
- Establish and further develop processes for competence mapping and competence-enhancing measures
- Plan, carry out and follow up employee surveys
- System responsibility for cooperation with safety representatives and the Working Environment Committee, and for further developing the company’s HSE and working environment culture
- Manage and further develop compensation schemes, including salary, pension and insurance
QHSE: subject matter and system responsibility
- System owner of the company’s quality and HSE management system, including ISO 9001
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, certification requirements and internal procedures
- Develop and maintain frameworks for risk assessments, safe job analysis and environmental mapping
- Plan, coordinate and carry out internal and external audits
- Overall responsibility for following up non-conformities, unwanted incidents, improvement measures and continuous improvement work
- Responsible for keeping emergency preparedness plans up to date and for related training

- Higher relevant education
- Relevant experience from HR and/or QHSE work, preferably from combined roles
- Good knowledge of Norwegian working life, the Working Environment Act and related regulations
- Experience with quality and HSE management systems, preferably certification work such as ISO 9001
- Good written and spoken Norwegian and English skills
- Competence in the use of IT tools and digital HR/QHSE systems, such as HR systems, non-conformity systems, document management and Office 365
- Ability to work in a structured and independent way, and in cooperation with managers and employees
