Project Engineer – Electrical

Dimo AS is looking for an engaged Project Engineer – Electrical who wants to become part of a strong and interdisciplinary professional environment within automation and hydraulics.

In this role, you will have a central function in the planning, engineering and follow-up of electrical and automation solutions in our projects.

You will work closely with both suppliers and internal departments to develop control systems for hydraulics, as well as motor and pump control systems. The position involves responsibility for ensuring that the solutions meet requirements for quality, functionality and safety.

Key responsibilities
  • Engineering and design of electrical and automation solutions
  • Preparation of technical specifications and project-related documentation
  • Coordination and follow-up of project deliveries
  • Participation in installation, commissioning and testing
  • Troubleshooting and technical support when needed
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of working methods and technical standards
  • Participate in the development of new automation solutions and control systems in collaboration with the technical department
  • Dialogue and communication with customers throughout the project phases
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical college education within electrical engineering/automation
  • Experience from project work within maritime or industrial automation is an advantage
  • Knowledge of maritime regulations and relevant standards is desirable
  • Structured and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Good collaboration skills
Requirements
  • Category B driving licence is required
  • Norwegian citizenship with a valid Norwegian passport without travel restrictions is required
