Anti-fouling
ICAF | MGPS
Marine fouling is caused by the accumulation of unwanted biological growth on a surface. If an effective MGPS system is not applied this can represent a serious problem for both constructions mounted in sea water and waterborne vehicles.

Corrosion's Impressed Current Anti-fouling Systems guarantee optimum protection against all types of marine fouling on every kind of vessel and construction.

Corrosion Solutions
ICCP
Impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) systems are used to protect the metal surfaces of ships exposed to the corrosive effects of the marine environment.

ICCP systems consist of sacrificial anodes connected to an external power source. This power source provides the current that leads to the electrochemical reaction required for cathodic protection to occur.

Prevent fouling
Protect the structure

ICAF systems create a current between copper anodes and integrated steel plate cathodes. As the copper dissolves into the seawater, an environment is created that prevents fouling and protects the structure. The power unit ensures that the copper anodes add precisely the number of copper particles required to the seawater.

Constant connectivity with intelligent anodes

All data can be downloaded to an external computer and transferred through the Internet. Easy to check. Easy to adjust.

Our smart anodes are then able to communicate with the control unit, making sure they’re always in the right position with the right amount of current.

Environmental-friendly

ICCP system technology is currently the most environmentally-friendly solution available in the battle against galvanic corrosion.

It’s extremely effective and does its job without dissolving heavy toxic metals, like aluminium and zinc, into the water.
