Delivering complete hydraulic system with automation
We’re excited to announce that we have secured a contract to deliver the complete hydraulic system with automation for four hybrid battery ferries, built at Havyard Leirvik, for Norled.
We are looking forward to contribute to this sustainabledevelopment in maritime transport.

Impressive battery capacity
The ferries will operate on the Stokkevågen-Lovund and Stokkevågen-Træna routes starting in 2027. With their 8000 kWh batteries, they will have the largest battery capacity for ferries in Norway.
Low noise delivery
Our delivery covers the complete hydraulic system, including all components, engineering, control system, operational panels for both deck and bridge, and two Eco Power Units (EPUs) for each vessel. The EPUs are known for their low noise emissions, which contribute to an almost whisper-quiet ferry journey.
