Sales Engineer – Frequency Drives
Dimo AS is looking for an engaged and structured sales professional for our focus area within frequency drives. Dimo is a distributor of Danfoss Drives, and we are now looking to strengthen our team with a salesperson who can promote these solutions and help bring the products to market.

Responsibilities
- Contact customers to identify needs and suggest the right solutions
- Plan and recommend stock levels based on customer needs
- Assist in delivering training courses for customers within drives and accessories
- Serve as a technical resource for frequency converters within the organisation
- Participate regularly in customer meetings and trade fairs
- Build and maintain close cooperation with the Danfoss organisation
- Stay up to date on Danfoss products and technological developments

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or technical college education within electrical engineering/automation,
or a certificate combined with relevant experience in frequency converters - Structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Good collaboration skills

Requirements
- Category B driving licence is required
- Norwegian citizenship with a valid Norwegian passport without travel restrictions is required

Your areas of responsibility
- Contribute to DIMO and the sales department reaching their goals
- Contribute to the development of product and market strategy
- Marketing and customer follow-up, establishing and maintaining customer relationships
- Identify and follow up opportunities and enquiries
- Clarify commercial and technical expectations and specifications
- Contribute to the development and definition of solutions
- Prepare calculations and commercial offers with sales documentation
- Follow up offers and conduct commercial contract negotiations
- Support the purchasing and project departments during execution
- Perform post-calculations of delivered projects
- The position involves some travel activity
